| It's been a really long time since I last posted, mostly due to my
determination to improve my grades. So far, it has worked!
Yay!
In other news, I'm turning 21 in 9 days! I can finally get booze without going through other people!
Time for me to pack up my stuff. I'll be heading back to NJ for
the weekend. Hopefully I'll see my fellow LHSers at some point!

| wow.
Thanks to Dave (or Dan? Eric? Rob? I can't remember)'s idea to walk
towards Biotech and Bartels, we managed to be right across from the
Lynah entrance just as they announced "Lynah section A entrance".
And suddenly I find myself sprinting (and hoping I don't slip in the
rain) to the rink, smushed against other fans as we all try to move up
the stairs, guardrail jammed under my ribs, heard a really nice girl
who yelled to the other guys, "LET THE SMALL GIRLS THROUGH!" ...
my first experience getting Cornell Hockey line numbers (last year I
mooched off of someone else)
GO BIG RED!

sooooo, it's been quite a while since I updated. Too much stuff
has been going on! SWE, ballroom, engr. ambassadors have been
eating up so much time. Hmm... I'll start off with recent
happenings.... I went toboth career fairs last week and spoke with some
recruiters about summer internships; hopefully these contacts plus
emails will land me a job next summer. SWE networking dinner also
helped... we shmoozed with employers and ate yummy food at the
Statler. Aside from sorting out administrative stuff for my SWE
chairs and getting the ballroom budget approved, classes are going well
but will probably kick my a$$ the next two weeks. BOO prelims.
More updates later...

| I've moved all my stuff back in to the apartment and organizing
stuff. For the next week or so I will be working on engineering
peer advising, SWE, and ballroom budget stuff by day, and
partying/chilling by night!
more updates later!

| I will be back at Cornell on Wednesday, August 17.
Some stuff I did this summer:
-interned at ADP doing fun website stuff and a short stats project
-replaced my primary drive but kept the original for storage space
-went running often enough
-finished all seasons of Sex and the City
-caught up on some quality reading
-got pink eye TWICE!
-got pulled over for passing a bus
-went to court and got the points removed
-met up with LHS people
It's been a relaxing summer. I got a lot of time to myself to
think about what I really want. I realized I'll really have to
buckle down and study these next two years if I want to compete with
other pushy and ambitious students for the i-banking jobs. Yay
for future 70 hour work weeks.
and so goes another summer
